Ward House is a family run business established in 1988 in Ryde on the Isle of Wight. We moved to our current premises on the corner of Union Street 20 years ago. In 2023 we celebrated 35 years of giving careful financial guidance within the our local community.

We are able to give financial advice on mortgages (including residential and buy to let), life assurance, as well as being able to give advice on mortgages into retirement.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of conduct, so our customers can be assured that they are in safe hands with us.

We also became an agency for Yorkshire Building Society in 2010 offering access to its savings products and services.

Our staff are passionate about providing easy access to financial advice and services for our community, and look forward to continuing to do so in the future. We’re also incredibly proud of the work we have undertaken to benefit local causes and charities since we opened our doors over 35 years ago.

We are a proud member of the Equity Release Council. The council and its member endorsement mark represent the gold standard for Lifetime Mortgages, Home Reversion Plans, and the Later Life Mortgage Market in general.

In addition, our senior partner Michael Ward has voluntarily completed the eight syllabus exam from The London Institute of Banking & Finance. The Accredited Later Life Lending CPD programme is designed to maintain and raise the learners standard and their knowledge of equity release and later life lending.
